Television Program

A television program can be said to be a segment of programming, in the television broadcasting. It consists of a series that is intended to air a finite number of episodes. These programs can be short run that is running for a week and even long run when it runs for a number of years

An important feature of all programming in the television is the advertisemts.These are source of revenue and the more number of advertisements that a program receives, the more it is said to be commercially successful. In a normal program, is of duration of an hour, there are at least two breaks for these commercials.

The contents of a television program may vary in nature, and these can be factual, documentaries, news and reality television or take the form of fictional comedy and drama. These television programs in most of the cases are instructional and in the case of educational programming or entertaining programs they are known to be generating income in the form of advertisements.

There are many common TV programs that feature a, set of programs that include programs of regular broadcasts that include the television news, many mini series programs that includes an extended film, usually of predetermined episodes, that has a set of plot and guidelines.These mini series, usually range from 3 to 10 hours in length. In the earlier days the old American television shows began with a title sequence that shows opening credits at the bottom of the screen, just at the beginning of the show, and also included the closing credits, at the end of the show.
