A Head

A Head is a website which is all about a side project discography of industrial musician Andre Schmechta. Industrial music though is a loose term for the manifold styles of electronic and experimental music is popular in the western countries since 1970s. X Marks the Pedwalk is famous in genre of music composition. It is of German origin and it was influenced in the electronic and industrial music scenes

A band of seven musicians organized to promote this experimental electronic music project in the year 1987. The center of attraction of the band party, Mr. Schmechta is a classically trained musician whose interest in synthesizers arose at the early age of his life. When he was at school, he had great love for music and was already a part of many bands. He chanced to buy a keyboard at the age of sixteen. After their first release, these members of scarecrow signed to the German band renaming X Marks the Pedwalk. A Head describes that Schmechta, the genius of the band, had the credit of writing, producing, and engineering all tracks of music albums. Most popular among his creations are Freaks and Cenotaph. This manifold personality has signed off from his career only to give spare time to his family. Now he is having two children wife Estefania. First live performance in Wiesbaden, Germany on December 16, 1989 was a great beginning of his tenured career where his party introduced Vomito Negro.

The course of X Marks the Pedwalk's history, Andre Schemchta especially formed or joined several side projects as a creative outlet for music and experimental music performance that had a different sound than X Marks the Pedwalk. Pax was a project that was created as the result of a working relationship between Andre Schemchta and Heico Daniel. During this time, he got appraisal from different strata of life. A-Head is his famous live project which was performed under the name 'Deep Down' in the year 1992. This project has the relevance specially because it was the third production of 1992. This was recorded in a twelve inch compact disc which was selled like hot cakes throughout the world. In this same year he released the first full length album, Freaks followed by Cenotaph.
