Tin Man Fantasy TV Series

Tin Man is a science fiction fantasy; television series, which has been aired on Sci Fi Channel for three days. Zooey Deschanel, Alan Cumming, Neal McDonough, Raoul Trujillo played the roles in the series that directed by Nick Willing.

The story of Tin Man is based on L. Frank Baums children novel Wonderful Wizard of OZ, which was published in 1900. The whole story was about a girl, called DG, who lived in a dreamy world with her parents. She was a young writer, who felt, she was not happy with her small town life and loved to think of bigger dreams. In her dreams she conversed with strange visitors of different places.

DG with her parents tried to escape in the storm and found that a sorceress wanted to kill her. After many blows and counter blows she had been rescued with the help of a detective called Tin Man. During those stormy days she woke up and found herself in a wonderland named Outer Zone (OZ), which was full of beautiful creatures. Suddenly she had was thrown into a cage. She became confused and thought why any one would want her to capture.

In the cage she met with a man called Glitch, whose brain had been taken away by a wicked witch, Azkadellia. Soon she came to know that, Azkadellia ruled the land of O.Z for a decade and placed the citizens of O.Z into very much trouble. DG and Glitch were able to escape from the cage and on the way of escaping they met with Cain (Tin Man). They found her parents again and DG came to know that, her parents are not her real parent.

While a mystic man helps her to know about her real mother, who was a queen had left DG to save her life. Actually Azkadellia was DGs sister and she wanted to know some secrets, which her mother told DG. Finally DG and her team were able to win the clash against evil. Neal McDonough played the character of Tin Man and Alan Cumming played Glitchs character. They both are very familiar faces of television.

Zooey Deschanel, an actor cum singer played the main role of DG, whose full name is Dorothy Gale. By writing modernized script Craig Van Sickle and Steven Long Mitchell have created the new Tin Man, which is quite different from the original story. With the real name of L. Frank Baums novel a film was released in 1939. Inspired by that movie this television series was created.
