The film was also known as Burger Kunkut in Finland and was titled as Good Burger—Die total verruckte Burger-Bude for the Germany TV. Apart from the original release date in USA, the film was also released in 1998 throughout UK, Iceland, Finland, Australia, France and Argentina. It was only in 2006 when the film was released as a TV premiere in Sweden.

Good Burger is the name of a shop in the film which plays the main motive for the key characters living. A teenager named Ed lives for the job and is totally dedicated to the shop which is primarily a friendly hamburger stand. Dexter, Eds friend also works in the shop for paying back the damager caused to his teachers car. Suddenly, one day a shop named Mondo Burger opened to compete the older one and thus the story moves on to show which shop lives and which die out.

Thus, Good Burger is a family-oriented screwball comedy with the motto of success to be the best revenge. The film has been a great hit in the box office earning up to $7,058,333 in total and $23,712,993 in US and Canada alone. The film has been able to achieve such a success due to the presence of Kel Mitchell, Kenan Thompson, Sinbad, Abe Vigoda and Shar Jackson in the leading roles making the film a huge box office hit.
