Cadet Kelly Famous Comedy Film

Starring Hilary Duff and Christy Carlson Romano, Cadet Kelly is a great comedy film which was released on 8th March, 2002. The film is a Disney Channel Original Movie. The film was directed by Larry Shaw and produced by Kevin Lafferly. The story of the film was written by Gail Parent and Michael Walsh.

The film Cadet Kelly revolves around Kelly Collinss character which is played by Hillary Duff. She is free-spirited and carefree girl, who stays with her mother. Her mother marries Major General Joe Maxwell, who becomes the Commandant of a military school. Kelly is bound to join the school, as the school is the only one in the locales.

Than follows a series of comic sequences in the film, Cadet Kelly, as Kelly struggles hard to fit herself in the military cadet team, which has strict and stringent rules and regulations. She stands as the most clumsiest and clueless member among the teammates. She faces a series of difficulties in adjusting herself in the team and obeying orders of her senior Captain and officer.

In the film, Cadet Kelly, such a situation arise that Kelly is presented before court and is sentenced to shine all the uniforms of the drill team. Kelly steadily improves and manages to learn the military mannerism. She shows such a progress and activeness that helps the school win 2nd place at the regional drill competition. Her father is unable to attend the competition as he fells of a cliff edge in a photo shoot. Hearing this Kelly and her captain Joe immediately sets off to rescue her father. In spite of losing so much time and five points in the competition, she manages to pull it off and score the second place.

The film Cadet Kelly was reported to score, above average among its audience. However Hillary Duff did full justice to the role of Kelly Collins. The film includes quite a number of scenes that generate humor and laughter. The role of Gary Cole as Joe Maxwell was also quite well accepted by the viewers. Wikipedia
